More importantly (and humbly), I feel like the writing is worth it when I’ve touched upon something that makes others say, “Yes.” I appreciate your response as well as your affirmation that writing can be a point of connection. When I set out to write something, I don’t immediately think of what will bring me kudos. I write, publish, and hope that I’ve tapped into something communal. I need that.
